Where to begin…? We simply could not have achieved our dream wedding without Sally. I was fully intending on being a DIY bride, saving money by doing things myself and had spent 18 months planning every little detail - but then we had to postpone multiple times due to COVID lockdowns and I found out I was going to be 37 weeks pregnant at the next intended date. Knowing I wouldn’t be physically able to do everything I wanted to do - I looked for help and found an angel in Sally.
The wedding planning had become a trigger for our anxiety and something we had stopped thinking and talking about. But after our first video call with Sally we were both able to breathe a sign of relief- she was taking on all the hard work for us. We were finally able to start getting excited about the wedding again and focus on enjoying ourselves. Sally and her team were amazing wedding co-ordinators!! We brought in Sally a month out from our wedding day, as we had lots of different suppliers to co-ordinate on the day for our DIY "wedfest" wedding! Sally really took the stress out of the last few weeks of wedding planning - she made a detailed run-sheet and liaised with all the vendors with regards their arrival and departure and took over all the niggly logistics like cables and power, etc! On the day itself, Sally and her team were all over everything, whilst blending in seamlessly! Moving furniture, making sure the day was moving through, etc! I highly recommend Sal and her team and if you are thinking about it for your wedding, you won't regret it!!
Sally and the Upon A Star team were a great find for our wedding. Our wedding was at a DIY venue, and ahead of the wedding Sally advised on what we would need for the day, and remind us of all kinds of things we hadn’t thought of. On the weekend of the wedding, Sally and her team were invaluable, setting up the day before, making sure absolutely everything ran smoothly on the day, and packing up the day after the wedding. Sally was prepared for everything on the day and remembered all of the little details, and it meant we didn’t have to think about a thing, and could completely enjoy the day from start to finish. Sally was AMAZING! We booked Sal as our on-the-day wedding coordinator, but she was so helpful and responsive the whole way through.
The real magic happened about 2 weeks out, when she breezed in and took a huge amount of stress off us - you don't realise when you start planning, but no matter how organised you are, the last few weeks before the wedding are manic!

Sally made us feel comfortable and at ease from the beginning and took so much of the pressure off us. We did not know where to start planning a wedding, but Sally guided us from the get go.
We had about three meetings before the wedding where Sally provided great suggestions and recommendations around local hair, makeup, flowers, MC's, music etc and listened to exactly what we wanted and how to achieve this. Sally also discussed things we hadn't even thought of that we would have missed otherwise!
Another great thing Sally did was make an document with the exact timings of everything that was taking place on the day (colour coordinated and all). Sally then emailed this out to everyone (MC, band, celebrant, bride and groom).
